Product and AI engineer who ships real-time voice AI agents and agent infrastructure to production on real hardware. Built a sub-1000ms speech-to-speech AI system in production on deployed robots across the US, UK, and India, plus the MCP servers and NATS messaging backbone behind it. Leads a multidisciplinary rapid prototyping team that turns concepts into working builds in hours. Previously led engineering for five technology ventures across India and Dubai (banking automation, RWA tokenization, enterprise ERP), all still operational.

I run products like businesses. Business sense, product judgment, and an engineer's hands. I've shipped banking automation in India, asset tokenization in Dubai, and three more ventures that are still running. Now I ship real-time voice AI on robots at Machani Robotics.

Experience

Product Engineer — Machani Robotics (Jun 2026 — Present). Built and shipped a production real-time speech-to-speech voice AI pipeline: Parakeet STT, LLM routing between Gemini on Vertex AI and on-device Qwen 7B, and Kokoro TTS. 800–1000ms on cloud, about 2000ms fully local, on deployed robots in the US, UK and India. Took the pipeline from prototype to a production pilot, now in beta with early clients. Built an evaluation framework for multi-turn conversations: automated flow tests, real-audio checks, and OpenTelemetry tracking of latency, transcription accuracy and response quality. Built and deployed MCP servers exposing computer-vision, image-generation and app-control tools to agentic workflows, backed by gRPC/Protobuf and FastAPI. Designed the NATS-based real-time messaging layer that is the communication backbone across all Machani products, and maintains the ESP32 firmware that talks to it. Runs containerized production services across the robot fleet with a multi-arch (amd64/arm64) Docker and AWS ECR pipeline, validated across 50+ demo and test runs. Leads a multidisciplinary team taking AI-robotics concepts from idea to working build in hours rather than days.

The longer version

Small town in Tuticorin. An engineering degree because that's what you do. A first year of college spent genuinely unsure what I was building toward — until I started building. A tech company during college. Then another. Some of it failed. I learned more from that than from any classroom.

Somewhere in between, one question got its hooks in me: why do humans connect with machines the way they do? Not the hardware question — the human question. It quietly shaped everything I paid attention to after.

Today I'm at Machani Robotics in Bengaluru, building robots designed to exist in the real world, around real people — the most interesting problem I've ever been close to. Before that I led engineering at Zenanvibe and built Inseatfood from zero: two very different lessons, both still running.
